How accessible are our digital services?
We recognise that not everything is fully accessible to all our visitors. This is something we are working to address. We would be very grateful if you could report any issues accessibility@gant.com to so that we can make the experience better for everyone. In this section, we describe the accessibility of our websites, apps, social media and other services.
Our website
As a visually impaired user, you may encounter: images without descriptive text, low contrast between text and background, forms or buttons that do not read correctly in screen readers, lack of confirmation when something is added to the cart.
As a user with motor impairments or who navigates by keyboard, you may encounter: difficulty navigating or operating elements such as: filters, dropdowns and buttons if they are not accessible via keyboard or lack clear focus indicators.
As a user with cognitive disabilities, you may encounter: moving content that can’t be paused, unclear error messages, or interface changes (such as expanding sections) that are not clearly announced to assistive technologies.
How we work with accessibility
At Gant, we believe accessibility is essential for creating a great online experience for everyone. Our goal is to ensure that our e-commerce site is usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability.
How we test our site
We regularly test our e-commerce site using both automated tools and manual checks to assess accessibility. This includes reviewing areas like keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, color contrast, and clarity of information. To strengthen our efforts, we time to time also partner with external accessibility specialists who perform detailed audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
Commitment to learning and improving
Accessibility is an ongoing journey. Our developers keep up to date with accessibility guidelines and requirements, while our in-house designers are continuously learning to better integrate inclusive design principles into their work. We actively share knowledge across teams to help everyone stay informed and avoid publishing non-accessible content.
Working with specialists
We recognize the value of expert input. By working with accessibility specialists, we gain insights that help us identify barriers and make our website more accessible over time. These collaborations also support the growth and learning of our internal teams.
Notifying the market surveillance
The accessibility requirements of the law are considered to be met with the exception of known deficiencies listed in this accessibility statement.
